Orthodox V Parishes hold successful bake Sale |

 On March 19, 2008, Orthodox V Parishes held another successful Bake Sale. The Lamont Recreation Centre was “occupied” by baked goods for a good cause.
This year’s event was a little bit different – it was held in a bigger hall and it seems that the people appreciated having more space to get around the tables with goodies.
The annual Bake Sale has proven to be a popular occurrence among residents of the Town of Lamont and Lamont County. With western Easter just around the corner and eastern Easter coming up in few weeks, baked Paschas, Babkas, muffins and ... well, almost anything you could fit into the oven were very popular attractions for our supporters.
There were door prizes, raffles and lunch, with pies for dessert – all professionally prepared and well catered to by the volunteers from our Parishes.
Thank you all volunteers for putting your hands and heads together to raise funds for our Parishes!
Thank you all who came to attend and support our event in any possible way! We hope you had a great experience and our coffee was strong enough for you.
